No Tengo Miedo is a song of empowerment. In a world where the rich and powerful try to terrorize minorities with fear and intimidation, such as with the Latino community, No Tengo Miedo serves as an anthem to remind all of us and especially our youth that they are strong and important.

While the mainstream is now finding out about our beautiful tradition of Dia De Los Muertos (day of the dead), this song celebrates the lives of our ancestors in our daily lives. No Tengo Miedo honors the sacrifices they made so that we can have better futures. No Tengo Miedo reminds our youth and all the people from our community that even in the face of racism and hatred we should not be afraid. We should continue to live fearlessly and honorably every day the way our ancestors did when they walked this earth.
